Evanson and Field stories

The first story i read was by Field. I thought this story contain a lot of concrete details throughout the story. The details were so concrete it had a lot of imagery and i could picture every scene. An example of imagery is "I wont pick up the looks you flick onto the rug between us".
This one line in the story i could feel because it was so concrete. Example, A kiss here, no matter how delicate, shocks the eyeball underneath which doesn't yet think of itself as a physical sphere able to be touched. In the story Point and Line there was a lot of repetition of the girl, which we don't know who, and also this cat. Field brings the girl and the cat up many times in the story.

Now Evanson's story was well understood, unlike Fields it was quite all over the place and random. This story was in first person and it was descriptive about his internship. I also noticed how it was broken down into topics, or "stanzas". This made me pause and rethink of what i just read so I followed it quite well.
